Americans anxiously awaited Monday's drawing to see if they were about to become millionaires. 

Lottery authorities said that the drawing will not be done until all procedures of the game have been successfully completed. 

Powerball wizards are urged to check again for the winning number if they are able to complete the drawing. 

Powerball officials did not say how long it would take to fix the problem. For the first time in Powerball history, the drawing is not delayed. 

There's still time to grab tickets for Monday night's record-breaking Powerball jackpot. 

The Powerball jackpot is worth $1.9 billion and the cash value is $921.9 million.

The last recorded Powerball jackpot was $1.586 billion in January 2016.
