Let’s find out how the Panthers beat the Falcons

Week 10 began with the Panthers defeating the Falcons 25-15 in a rain-disrupted edition of Thursday Night Football.

Carolina controlled the game with a season-high 232 rushing yards, including 130, and a touchdown from D’Onta Foreman, the first 100-yard rushing game of the season.

Atlanta QB Marcus Mariota threw a pair of touchdown passes, including a 25-yard strike to Khadarel Hodge, with 2:56 left to set up the seven-point game.

After getting the ball back with 2:33 to play in a forced stop, the Falcons’ potential game-tying drive ended on a fourth-down sack by Marquis Haynes Sr.

Eddie Pineiro of the Panthers tacked on his fourth field goal of the game to seal the win.

With the loss, Atlanta (4-6) drops to second place in the NFC South and will host the Bears in Week 11.

The Panthers (3-7) travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens.
