Actress Marsha Hunt dies

 Marsha Hunt, the last actress of Hollywood's golden era, has passed away.  The actress was 104 years old at the time of her death. She acted in more than 100 films and TV shows.

Marsha Hunt was born on October 17, 1917 in Chicago.  Marsha later went to New York to study Drama.  Hunt began her career as a model in New York City.

 The veteran actress died at her residence in California on Wednesday.  Hunt starred with actors ranging from Sir Lawrence Olivier to Andrew Griffith.

Actress Marsha Hunt starred in films like 'Easy Living','Pride and presiudis'  When MGM named Hunt the youngest character actress , Hunt was only 40 years old.

In 1947, Hunt joined Hollywood actors Lauren Bacall, Humphrey Bogart and Danny Kaye in a protest against the House Un-American Activities Committee in Washington.

 Hunt spoke out against the Communist infiltration of Hollywood.  The actress was blacklisted by many producers , directors in Hollywood in the 50s.
