Volkswagen launched new car “Virtus” in India

Volkswagen launched the much-awaited Virtus sedan in India. The base model starts with 11.22 lacs(ex-showroom) all the way up to 17.92 lacs(ex-showroom).

Volkswagen’s new car Virtus is future-ready for the Indian roads. Its dimensions are 4561mm in length with a wheelbase of 2651mm. The car follows a typical Volkswagen car design and gets LED headlamps and LED DRLs up front along with LED tail lamps. The top variant (GT Plus) gets some extra features like dual-tone paint with blacked roof, black ORVMs, GT badging and blacked-out alloys, and also red dashboard highlights.

The interior layout is similar to its SUV, the Taigun. Virtus also gets a 10-inch infotainment display giving access to wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and an 8-inch digital display is used for the instrument panel. It is a Feature-packed car including a sunroof, six airbags, a wireless smartphone charger, automatic climate control, 60:40 split rear seats, and many more.

The Virtus lineup has been divided based on the engine used; i.e Dynamic line using 1.0 TSI and the Performance line using 1.5 TSI.
