Veteran actress Asha Parekh will be given Dadasaheb Phalke Award
This year’s Dada Saheb Phalke Award will be presented to prominent actress Asha Parekh.
She will be awarded the highest film award for his contribution to Indian cinema.
The confirmation was made by Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur.
On the Dada Saheb Phalke Award, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said, actress Asha Parekh will be presented with this year’s Dada Saheb Phalke Award.
Asha Parekh has acted in about 95 films. The actress has already been awarded the Padma Shri.
According to the information given by Anurag, this award will be given to Asha Parekh on 30 September.
Asha Parekh was born on 2 October 1942 in a Gujarati family.
Asha Parekh started her film career as a child artist. She made her acting debut as a heroine in the 1959 film Dil Deke Deko.
