Australia finishes day two with the score of 475 losing 4 wickets. The other not batsman is Matt Renshaw who is on a Test return is batting on 5.

This century by Usman Khawaja is his third consecutive century at Sydney.

Last year when he was recalled to the Australian Test team due to Travis Head tested Covid positive.

His celebrated his Test return with a century against the English side in the Ashes series.

Usman Khawaja scored another century in the second innings of that Test against the English side.

He had became the integral part of the Australian Test team and scored 1080 runs at the average of 67.50 in 2022.

When he completed the century, he became only the fourth batsmen in the history of the game to have scored 3 consecutive centuries in the Sydney Cricket Ground, known as the SCG.

The other three were Wally Hammond, Doug Walters and India’s very own VVS Laxman.

Khawaja was joined by Travis Head and Head quickly started to score his runs.

Rain ended the day an hour earlier than the stipulated time.

The South African bowlers looked helpless on this slow pitch which provided no assistants to any of their bowlers.

Kagiso Rabada took 1 wicket, Anrich Norje took 2 wickets and Keshav Maharaj got 1 wicket.

As more rains are predicted on day 2 and day 3, this match might not see a result unless Australia dismiss South Africa quickly in both their innings.

The pitch looks very slow with little spin, it will be an uphill task for Australia to produce a favorable result.

Australia would like to add some quick runs tomorrow morning and declare as soon as possible.

Australia already won the three match Test series by winning the first two Test matches which were played in Brisbane and the Melbourne Cricket Ground respectively.

Australia will surely look to have a whitewash the series by winning this Test too, but for that they would like to pray to the raingod to stay away.
