The blessings of Goddess Kaali are always with India: PM Modi
The Ma Kali controversy was triggered when an actor dressed as the Goddess was shown smoking a cigarette, on a poster. Where Mahua Moitra says- an individual can imagine Goddess Kali as a meat-eating and alcohol-accepting Goddess, as each person had his or her unique way of worshipping deities.
Whereas PM Modi on Sunday said, that the blessings of Goddess Kali are always with the country, which is moving ahead with spiritual energy for the welfare of the world. In his speech PM referred to Swami Ramakrishna and his guru Swami Vivekananda.
“Swami Ramakrishna Paramhansa was one such saint who had got a
glimpse of ‘Ma Kali’.
“Whenever I had the opportunity, I visited Belur Math
and the (Dakhineshwar) Kali temple (across the river). He says Maa Kaali is showering blessings not only for Bengal but the whole of India.
