Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday declared that he would grant 10 lakh job opportunities in all departments and ministries within the next 18 months, in a mission mode.
He declared this on his official Twitter handle.

After the covid pandemic, unemployment emerged as one of the major challenges before the Modi government.
It’s not yet revealed which department would be recruiting how many, but much of the recruitment would be in the Railways, the Central Paramilitary Forces, armed forces, GST departments, and administrative staff for government-owned banks and insurance companies; as revealed by a senior government official.

On his official Twitter handle, posted this-
“PM @narendramodi reviewed the status of Human Resources in all departments and ministries and instructed that recruitment of 10 lakh people be done by the Government in a mission mode in next 1.5 years.”
