Minister Parimal Suklabaidya Lays Foundation Stone of Sonacherra and Balicherra Dyke Worth Rs.2 Cr in Borjalenga
Assam Fisheries,Excise, Forest and Environment Minister Parimal Suklabaidya
on Friday laid the foundation stone of the construction works of Dyke along both bank of river Sonacherra and Balicherra from Dwarbond to Chotojalenga at Borjalenga Gaon in Cachar’s Dholai Assembly Constituency.
The fund was sanctioned estimated amount of Rs. 2 Crore under Chief Minister Special Package
Speaking on the occasion Minister Parimal Suklabaidya Said,“During the earlier Congress government, the disaster magement works were started during monsoon and as such the works could not be completed as per plan and estimate. Such works always remain incomplete and people do not get fruitful results although public money is used in those works. I have tried to prevent such misuse of government funds and to ensure fruitful results to save the people from tural calamities.”
The Minister also requested the government officials of the steering committee to ensure that the work is of high quality and directed the water resource officials of Hailakandi Division and to complete the projects within stipulated time frame.
Minister,Suklabaidya also effusively praised Narendra Modi and Sonowal led government and said many visionary initiatives were being taken up by the government for the Development of rural infrastructure and many other developmental work.The Government is committed for overall development of the Dholai Constituency.He also urging the people to join their hands in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat
During the Foundation stone Borjalenga Anchalik Panchayat Member Bulti Deb
address shortly said its dream project for the people of this locality and praised the continuous development of Dholai and also said under the guidance of our Minister Parimal Suklabaidya Dholai Constituency is fully Committed under various Developmental projects.She lauded the various developmental projects of the present government of Assam and urged everyone to have confidence in the BJP government.
“Despite the challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the state government did not allow the pace of Rural development to slow down and completed pending works as well as start new projects” she added.
Hailakandi Division Water resource Department officials describe about the details of the project, local Gao Panchayat Members and other officials also shared their views regarding the continuous development of Sonowal-led government.

Meanwhile, on the day Minister Also Laid the Foundation stone of one Pacca Chat Puja Ghat at Dholai Basti amounted to Rs. 3 Lakh and one Construction of CC Block road Dholai khal bridge to Dholai basti at sadagram estimated amount to Rs. 7,34,167 both under Dholai Gaon Panchayat.
