According to Zoom, the legal notice stated that the ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ is “derogatory” and “offensive” towards Goddess Laxmi, who is worshipped by the Hindu community.
In their notice, the Karni Sena has also reportedly alleged that the makers “deliberately” used the title ‘Laxmmi Bomb’, with the sole intention to lower the “dignity” and to show “disrespect” towards Goddess Laxmi.

An unconditional apology from the makers of ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ for hurting their religious sentiments has been demanded in the notice that was sent by advocate Raghavendra Mehrotra, on behalf of Shri Rajput Karni Sena.
Karni Sena in its notice has alleged that the film’s title sends a wrong message in the society towards the “ideology, customs, gods and goddesses of Hindu religion.” ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ is the Hindi remake of Tamil hit ‘Muni 2: Kanchana’ and features Kiara Advani as the leading lady.
