Tanikella Bharani is celebrating her 66th birthday today. Tanikella Bharani did stage plays in the mid-70s and during this time she played the role of Tollywood actor. With his help, Tanikella Bharani started writing short dialogues and stage scenes. After which Tanikella Bharani completed a diploma in theater arts. He moved to Chennai.
Tanikella Bharani started her career as a dialogue writer for Kanchu Kavachram in 1984. He has performed Ladies Tailor, Sri Kanak Mahalakshmi Recording Dance Troupe 1987, Varsudhochadu 1988, Chettu Kinda Pleader 1989, Swara Kalpana 1989, Siva 1989 and Seenu Vasanthi Lakshmi 2004. Tanikela also wrote and sang songs of Gundammagari Manavadu. After which he also played the lead character in the 1999 Hindi comedy film Tere Pyaar Mein Pagal. His powerful opposition at Samudram won him the Nandi Award as Best Villain. After 2000, he began to play more mature roles in films such as Manmadhudu 2002, Okariki Okaru 2003, Samba 2004, Malliswari, Godavari 2006, and Happy 2006.
The Telugu drama film Mithunam directed by Tanikella Bharani is a 2012 feature featuring S.P. Balasubrahmanyam and Lakshmi. For this film, Tanikella Bharanai was awarded the Cinema Award Special Jury Award for Best Direction.
