Gyanvapi Case! The appeal of the Hindu side deserves to be heard
The Banaras court handed down an essential verdict in the Gyanvapi-Shringar Gouri case.
The court ruled that the petitions filed by five women for daily worship of Hindu gods and goddesses were worthy of consideration.

The Banaras court dismissed the CPC petition Order VII, Rule 11 filed by the Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee challenging the right of five women to worship Hindu gods and goddesses on the premises of the Gyanvapi Masjid.
District Judge AK Biswas of Banaras ruled that the Gyanvapi Masjid-Shringar Gouri case was worthy of hearing.
The court will now continue hearing the petition filed by five women for worship at the premises of Gyanvapi Masjid near the famous Kashi Bishwanath temple.
