Former PM of Japan Shinzo Abe was shot dead
Former Japanese Prime Minister Abe Shinzo was delivering a speech in the city of Nara, near Kyoto, and all of a sudden he collapsed. He was injured and blood shattered all over his white shirt and was laid unconscious. Abe was preparing a campaign speech on the street outside the train station.
We have to come to know that he had been wounded on the right side of his neck and left clavicle. The incident took place around 11:30 AM 8 AM (TST). The reporters present at the current situation reported that they heard two gunshots. The first gunshot was loud and she did not hear anything falling while in the Second shot she saw Ex-PM Abe collapse down to the ground.
Gunshots were heard around 11.30 a.m. local time.
Security officials caught up with the gunman, and the 41-year-old man who was suspected is now in police custody.
Abe was taken to – The Nara Medical University Hospital, where he was taken for medical treatment after the shooting, confirmed his death on Friday evening.
