Eknath Shinde removed from the post of party leader
At least 12 MLAs along with Eknath Shinde (Shiv Sena minister), were removed from the post of the party group leader who was camping in Gujarat. Eknath Shinde will be replaced by MLA Ajay Chaudhary. According to sources, Shinde is at Surat’s Le Meridien hotel along with the other MLAs, since their arrival this Tuesday morning, the police are checking each and every car at the entrance, and security has been tightened. Sharad Pawar, Nationalist Congress Party chief termed this issue an internal matter of Shiv Sena and has faith in CM Udhhav Thackeray to solve this problem. Pawar said, “Looking at the situation, I think we will find out some solution.”
According to another party leader, around 20 MLAs of Shiv Sena, including four state ministers, were not reachable at the moment. This happened after the Maha Vikas Aghadi won the state Legislative Council polls with 133 votes against Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday.
