Boycott Adipurush is trending on Twitter. Om Raut directed Adipurusha which created a special interest among film lovers.

Popular actor Prabhas was looking forward to seeing him in the role of Ram.

There was curiosity about how the Epic Ramayana would be presented in a modern form.

However, Adipurush has dashed all the hopes of the audience. The hashtag Adipurush has been trending on Twitter for a while now.

But after the teaser was released on October 3, the whole picture turned upside down.

The hashtag Boycott Adipurush is trending on Twitter.

Why has the Boycott Adipurush started on Twitter?

The Epic Ramayana is a revered book for Indians. The characters of Lord Rama, Hanuman, Mata Sita, Ravana, etc. of the Epic Ramayana are located in the heart of every Indian.

Every Indian family has at least one poster or idol of Lord Rama or Hanuman in their home.
So every Indian knows what Lord Rama, Hanuman, or Ravana looked like.

In addition, the Ramayana, which was broadcast on television a few years ago, made the characters of the Epic Ramayana more familiar to every Indian.

But Indian audiences cannot take lightly a film that distorts the character of Lord Rama, Hanuman, or Ravana in a film based on that Ramayana.

Why is there a boycott demand?

After the release of the teaser poster of Adipurush, everyone was hoping that the producers had succeeded in playing the character of Lord Rama.

Actor Prabhas also excepted netizens in the role of Ram. But the confusion started when the teaser of the film was released.

The teaser of the film was released on October 3 at a grand function in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.

There has been a strong reaction to the film.

The film’s teaser shows Saif Ali Khan playing Lankesh as the tyrannical Mughal king. Saif Ali Khan looked more like the Mughal invader Alauddin Khilji than King Lankesh.

Saif Ali Khan’s beard, mascara, and dress as a Mughal invader have not been accepted by netizens as Ravana.

Everyone knows, King Ravana was a great wise, brave warrior and also a devotee of Lord Shiva. But Saif Ali Khan, who plays Lankesh in director Om Raut’s Adipurush, doesn’t have the appearance of a great sage.

In contrast, Saif Ali Khan was seen as a cruel character, like the Mughal invader, tyrant Alauddin Khilji.

The controversy has also started with the Lankesh vehicle.

Everyone knows that Ravana’s vehicle is Puspak Rath. This Puspak Rath was conquered by King Ravana from Kubera. This vehicle takes shape and speed according to who wins it.

However, in the Adipurush, the vehicle of King Lankesh is shown as a bat. This is very disgusting to look at.

After King Lankesh, there is controversy over the character of Lord Hanuman. Actor Devdatta Nage plays the role of Hanuman in Adipurush.

In the film, Devdatta Nage looks like a cheap Mughal army. Devdatta Nage, with his long beard like the Mughals, was never expected by film lovers as Lord Hanuman.

On the other hand, the director did not pay attention to the historical sources of the character of Lord Rama.

According to the Epic Ramayana, Lord Rama had a clean shave and peaceful appearance.
But the teaser of Adipurush Prabhas did not do justice to the character of King Raghav(Lord Rama).

Prabhas’s role as Lord Rama was more like that of ‘Baahubali’

The question is, why did the director deliberately make this mistake? The director did not study the epic Ramayana when writing the script for this big-budget film. Or the characters of Rama, Ravana, Hanuman, etc. were distorted just to create controversy knowing everything.
