Beaches, gardens in Mumbai to remain shut from 8 pm to 7 am, full shutdown on weekends
In a bid to control the new rush of Covid-19 cases, all seashores, nurseries, and public grounds in Mumbai have been requested closed from 8 pm to 7 am on workdays.
At the end of the week, the public spaces will stay shut from 8 pm Friday to 7 am Monday.
While visiting seashores and gardens from 7 am to 8 pm on workdays, guests should carefully notice Covid’s suitable conduct.
Neighborhood specialists explained that if swarming occurs at these spots during allowed hours and Covid conventions are not followed, the spot might be closed down.
The request comes a day after the Mumbai Police gave prohibitory orders under segment 144 of the CrPC restricting the get-together of at least five individuals at public spots in the city from 7 am to 8 pm from Mondays to Fridays till April 30.
