Virat Kohli scores his 45th ODI century at Guwahati and helps India score 373 runs.
Virat looked extremely comfortable since he came to bat, he rotated the strike at ease both against spin and pace. Virat hit 12 fours and 1 six in his scintillating innings.
Virat scored 113 runs off just 87 balls. This was Virat’s 73rd international century and he looks back in his usual self.
Srilanka won the toss and put India into bat. Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shubham Gill quickly came into their groves and started to score runs quickly.
For the first wicket Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill put on 143 runs in just 19.4 overs.
Shubman was first to get out when he was on 70 off 60 balls, trapped in front of the wicket by Dasun Shanaka, the captain of Srilanka.

Suryakuma Yadav sadly could not find a place in the Indian eleven despite his amazing form in the T20Is.
Shreyas Iyer took his place in the eleven. Ishan Kishan too missed out even though he scored an ODI double century in the previous ODI of India vs Bangladesh.
Arshdeep Singh too could not find a place in the eleven.
Virat Kohli joined Rohit Sharma and quickly started to score runs at a brisk pace.
But soon India was dealt with a big blow when Rohit played a ball on to his stumps by Madushanka at his personal score of 82 off just 67 balls. Rohit hit 9 fours and 3 sixes in his innings.
Shreyas Iyer comes to bat after the fall of Rohit Sharma and again looked at ease against both pace and spin.
Shreyas Iyer and Virat Kohli put on 50 runs off 36 balls for the third wicket.
Shreyas scored scored 28 runs from 24 balls. Iyer perished at the score of 213 while trying to up the ante .
K L Rahul was next come to join Virat Kohli and the duo looked to steer the innings of India and scoring fairly briskly.
They put on 90 runs off 70 balls. Rahul lost his stumps when he was on 39 off 29 balls at India’s score of 303.
Hardik Pandya was next to come to join Virat and the partnership yielded runs. Hardik got out at his own score of 14 off 12 balls.
Axar Patel too could not continue his recent form as he could scored just 9 runs from 9 balls.
India finished 373 runs at the end of their innings. For Srilanka, Kasun Rajitha was the most successful bowler who took 3 wickets conceding 88 runs in his 10 overs.
All other bowlers looked helpless on this belter of a wicket at Guwahati.
